Zubin Jacob is an accomplished professor in the field of electrical and computer engineering, currently serving as the Elmore Professor at Purdue University in Indiana, USA. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University in 2010


Prof. Jacob's research focuses on topics such as manipulating light in innovative ways and thermal radiation engineering. He is noted for proposing the concept of the Optical Hyperlens, a device that surpasses the diffraction limit for super-resolution imaging.


Throughout his career, Jacob has received numerous accolades, including the DARPA Director’s Fellowship and the NSF CAREER Award.
